Shillong, January 31: Mr. Pyniaid Sing Syiem the NPP candidate in this up coming MLA Election to the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly hold public rally at Diengpasoh, in his speech he urged the people of Mawryngkneng to choose a candidate who will look after the welfare of the people.
He lamented that, in the last 5 years, nobody has even once raised the issues and hardships faced by the people of Mawryngkneng constituency in the Legislative Assembly. On the other hand he praised Mr. Pyndiad Syiem, MDC for working tirelessly for the people and said that as a young legislator, he has proven his abilities both in the KHADC and outside of it.
Mr. Prestone Tynsongalso denied allegations that the NPP is the team ‘B’ of the BJP. He said that such allegations are misleading attempts by the Congress to create confusion in the minds of the people. He said that the Congress is threatened by the love and overwhelming support that the people of Meghalaya have given the NPP. Since the Congress has run out of ideas, it continues to mislead the people with lies and misinformation.
Mr. Prestone Tynsong also warned the people of Meghalaya to be careful in availing the last-minute ‘get-rich-quick’ schemes distributed by Dr. Mukul Sangma and informed the people these schemes are actually loans that the beneficiaries will have to eventually repay.
NPP candidate from Mawryngkneng Mr. Pyndiaid Sing Syiem constituency reminded the people of the need to preserve the language and indigenous customs and traditions of the people. He promised that the new government, which will be formed by the NPP, will ensure the overall development of the area and that the people of Mawryngkneng will benefit from employment opportunities from various state and central government offices in the New Shillong Township.
