Shillong, Feb 16: Mr Sanbor Shullai-MLA, along with the members of MCIC 19th South Shillong Constituency has begin the New Year constituency tour programme on Saturday, for implementation of various Central Govt. and State Govt. sponsoring and sanctioning schemes for an amount of Rs. 7.51 cores to be implemented within Shillong Cantonment Area and Shillong Municipal Area under 19th South Shillong Constituency.
The profile of the sanctioning schemes are Construction of Motorable Link Road, Public Footpath and Drains, Improvement of Water Supply, widening of Motorable Road, Construction of Dorbar Shnong Office, Children Park, Community Hall, Construction of Play Field, Construction of Students Waiting Shed, Construction of Public Utility Centre and installation of LED Solar Street Lamp Post.
The programme cum inspection started from the birth place of the Local MLA at Red Cross Lower Laban and various part of Laban Area in which the MLA was accompanied by Mr Edward Kharwanlang-Rangbah Shnong, Laban, Mr Joy Rynjah-Secretary Dorbar Shnong Laban and members of the Dorbar Shnong, Smti Amelia Swer-Secretary Indian Red Cross Society along with the official of PWD Department, Shillong Municipal Board and MePDCL.
The local MLA Mr Shullai express his sincere thanks to the official of various Department, various Dorbar Shnong, General public especially the Land owners for their full help and support in which the consent Departments could prepare the plan and estimate in due course of time and get the schemes sanctioned at an earliest to fulfill the aspiration and serve the interest of the General Public at large.
