NEHU issued notification to allowed teaching and non teaching staff to work from home

Shillong, March 23: The Registrar of the North Eastern Hill University (NEHU) has issued notification base on the instruction from UGC as part of the preventive measure and to achieve social distancing that teaching and non teaching staff were allowed to work from home.

In the notification issued today faculty members, researcher’s non teaching staff should be permitted and advices to work from home till 31st March 2020.  During this period shall be counted that they are on duty including ad-hock and contract employees are valid at lease up to 31st march 2020.

All the faculty members, researcher’s non teaching staff should provide their contact detail so that they can be contacted in case of emergency.  All administrative and academic offices will remain closed on the 24th and 25th March 2020.

All students who could not vacate the Hostel due to shortage of time for making arrangement of tickets and others arrangement to move out of the state will be  allowed to stay back  subject to concern form parents through email application to be forwarded by the supervisor.

They should furnish also along with the certificate that they are staying in the hostel at their own responsibility. This must be submitted to their warden immediately.
