Shillong, October 08: The residence of Danagre saw a cartoon box in the jungle within the vicinity which looks suspicious, people closely went and take with stick to uncover the cartoon box but surpassingly there was a baby inside the cartoon.
The Superintendent of police of West Garo Hills District said that this abandoned baby was recovered on the 6th of this Month, the police have sent for postmortem and they are yet to get the report. Police said they will come to know only after getting the postmortem report.
Look from the body of the baby it might be kept in the place within one or two days, since the body is at initial stage of decomposition. When they get the postmortem report then they will know whether the child was born alive or it was born death and kept it in the jungle.
