Shillong, June 4: The District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills District in an order issued today under Section 144 CrPC has informed that Night Curfew is imposed from 4:00 PM to 5: 00 AM in Shillong Agglomeration with immediate effect and it shall remain in force until further orders.
However, according to the District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills District, indefinite curfew in areas under Lumdiengjri Police Station that is Jaiaw, Mawkhar, Umsohsun, Riatsamthiah, Wahingdoh, Mission, Mawprem, Lumdiengjri, Lamavilla, Qualapatty, Wahthapbru, Sunny Hills ,Contonment, Mawlong Hat including Contonment Beat House Areas excluding localities beyond Umshyrpi bridge shall continue until further order.
