Shillong, July 29: Meghalaya Health Minister Mr A L Hek informed that today people tested COVID-19 positive 5 and the numbers of people who recovered as of two are 207.
The people who are tested positive today, 2 in East Khasi Hills they are from the Armes Forces, 1 in Ri Bhoi District and 2 in Tura they are from the BSF.
Total active cases in the state are 572, the BSF 246, Civilians 291 and from the Armes Forces 35. Deceased 5. Sample collected till today 35198 tested negative 34239 and result awaited 175.
Director Health Services informed that in this three days the health workers has done the contact tracing about 1118 people from all the containment area all have come out negative.
