Shillong, September 12: The Meghalaya police along with the Delhi Police has arrested six Nigerian national from the national capital New Delhi, these people were identified as Mr Agodo Chinedu Frank 35 years, Smt. Rose Sekhose 34 years, Mr Oria Francis 28 years, Mr John Onyekweli Ofodile 35 years, Mr Toh Bi Gorgers 25 years and Miss Angela Omoruyi 23 years they are all Nigerian and one Guinea national that is Mr Barry Amadou 30 years.
A person from Meghalaya has lodge a complaint with the police that he was duped around Rs 21 Lakh by his facebook friend. The Cyber Crime Police Station, CID Headquarters, Meghalaya, Shillong assisted by Delhi Police, raided several places in and around Delhi and arrested six people who were alleged to be involved in the cyber crimes.
From their position the Police also recovered and seized fifty ATM cards, fifty SIM cards, twenty cell-phones, six laptop computers and ten pen-drives from their possession.
