Shillong, October 14: The Superintendent of Police West Khasi Hills District Mr GD Kharwanlang said that the police have arrested one person who was suspected to have murder one middle age man last night at Syllei Village of West Khasi Hills District.
The Superintendent of police said that the name of the arrested person is yet to know as the interrogation is on, the man who succumbs to his injuries had a dip cut on the head and the leg, and the murderer has hit the deceased with the Daw from behind.
Sources said that the deceased was identified as M Kharbani age 49 and the accused was identified as A Nongsiej.
