Shillong, June 17: The Meghalaya Police have asked all the moderators or administrators of various group to immediately inform the police if any provocative statement is up loaded in the Social Media so that action will be taken promptly.
The moderators or administrators of various groups in social media are requested to have a system in place to filter such posts before they are uploaded in the social media which unnecessarily creates confusion and fear in the minds of the general public.
Further, it is also requested that in case such posts come to the notice of the moderators or administrators of the various social media groups, then the same should be informed to the Police by quickest means possible for immediate and necessary action from this end.
