Shillong, Feb 24: Pope Francis has appointed Rev Father Jose Chirackal as Auxiliary Bishop of Tura Diocese, this announcement was made public in Rome at 16.30 hours today in Indian standard time.
In the appointment made it was mwntion that “Let us entrust the Episcopal Ministry of the new Auxiliary Bishop to the intercession of the Virgin mary”.
Rt. Rev Andrew R Marak today has written letter to all Fathers, Brothers and Sisters informing that His Holiness Pope Francis appointed the Auxiliary Bishop in Tura Diocese.
