Shillong, October 13: The causal workers of the Meghalaya State Electricity Corporation Limited (MeECL) today stage a black flag protest at their head office at Lumjingshai to demand from the corporation for the regularization of those who has served for many years in the MeECL.
The Casual workers who has form the trade union Meghalaya State Electricity Corporation Progressive Workers Union (MPWU) today demonstrate during lunch time period from 1.30 PM to 2.30 PM to make the authority Concern hear their problems and grievances.
The president of the MPWU, Mr Mantipphrang Lyngdoh inform SP News Agency that the Power Minister of Meghalaya has invited them for talk on the 18th October 2017 at his level. The Union accepted the invitation of the Minister as the trade Union they thank the minister for inviting them so that they can made him understand about their grievances.
