Shillong, March 12: The Deputy Commissioner of West Garo Hills District Mr Pravin Bakshi said that from the preliminary report that has comes it show that houses that was damage in the high intensity wind that hit Dalu area on Saturday morning is between 30 to 40 houses.
The Agnanwadi Centre in the area was damage and the rest of the houses are partially damage the assessment is on and the office is preparing to dispatch the assistance to thus affected people, so far no report of casualties except minor injuries.
From the office they were alert since this type of natural calamities happen every years during the month of March and April.
