Prof. S.K. Srivastava, Vice-Chancellor of  NEHU  receives first dose Covid-19 Vaccine

Shillong, April 01: Prof. S.K. Srivastava, Vice-Chancellor, North-Eastern Hill University, Shillong was administered the first dose of the Covishield vaccine on 31st March, 2021 at the NEHU Health Centre.

This as part of the COVID-19 Vaccination Drive with the permission and support from the University Authorities and the District Medical & Health Officer (DMHO), East Khasi Hills District, Government of Meghalaya.

The eligible beneficiaries of age group 60 plus and above are given priority. Persons with co-morbidity of age 45 to 59 years can also avail the vaccine. This vaccine campaign in NEHU started on 10th March, 2021 twice a week (every Monday and Wednesday) and will continue for approximately eight weeks.
