Shillong, August 01: The 119 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army) ASSAM will conduct a recruitment rally for persons hailing from North East region of India, West Bengal and Andaman and Nicobar Island for the posts of Soldier General Duty and Clerk Staff Duties. The recruitment rally for the State of Manipur, Mizoram and Meghalaya will be held on 04th August, 2017 from 6:00 AM onwards at Kench’s Trace, Shillong.
For the post of Soldier (GD), minimum educational qualification required is class X pass with 45% marks with minimum 33% marks in each subject. For the post of Soldier Clerks, minimum Class XII pass with 60% marks aggregate and not less than 50% in each subject and should have proficiency in Computer. Should have studied English and Maths/Accts/Book keeping in class XII or X and should have secured minimum 50% marks in each of these subjects, whether studied in class XII or X. For Tradesman, the educational qualification required is Class X pass.
Candidates should be between the age group of 18-42 years on the day of screening. Candidates should bring all the documents in original at the time of enrolment viz, Education Certificate including Board Certificate in original, Domicile/Permanent Residence Certificate in original, 6 copies of Passport size colour photographs, latest Character Certificate issued by Gaon Panchayat (issued after 01 January, 2017) , Ration Card/Voter ID and Aadhaar Card and PAN Card, No Objection Certificate from Civil/Government Employer, if employed, Marital Status Certificate and latest Character Certificate issued by Police Authority.
Medical Test, Computer Proficiency Test for Clerk and Personal Interview will be conducted from 04th – 09th August, 2017 from 8:00 AM onwards.
