Shillong, April 17: Power Minister Mr James K Sangma on his reply to the question put by the MLA from Shillong North Mr Adelbert Nongrum, the minister said that the 233 candidates who are still reaming will be appointed soon, it will be done before the expire of the term.
The reason for the delay in appointing the jugali is due to financial constrain from the MeECL, due to this reason the MeECL has decided to appoint the 722 candidates who has passed the examination in three shift, in the first and in the second appointment that was done is 519 and the remaining 233 will be appointed soon.
The Minister also inform that house that from the first and second appointment that was made 20 people have not been appointed because they could not produce police verification certificate, the minister said.
