Shillong, May 17: The Sanitization of Bethany Hospital, Shillong begin today is pleased by government’s order on sanitization of the hospital and subsequently, disinfection of entire hospital building has started today under the purview of Directorate of Health Services Government of Meghalaya.
Dr Kyntiewlang Sanmiet said that this was done based on the Hospital Infection Prevention and Control guidelines by National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Once disinfection is done, a thorough clean-up will follow as per the said guidelines.
On behalf of Bethany Family, Dr Sanmiet thank the Commissioner and Secretary of Health Department, Mr Sampath Kumar and Director of Health Services (MI), Dr. Aman Warr for helping them in this process.
