Shillong, February 12: Shillong Lajong Academy registered their third consecutive victory with a 3-0 win over Rangdajied United today in the ongoing U-13 Youth League (group stage) at the MFA Ground in Polo.
Lajong Junior Reds displayed a strong second half performance, with the majority of the ball possession and a good attacking play upfront.
The first goal was scored by Gladdy Kharbuli in the 45th minute from inside the box, Caldolan Kharmawphlang netted the second goal in the 65th minute also from inside the box and Meshanskhem Marbaniang scored a long ranger in the 68th minute.
Shillong Lajong Academy remains unbeaten in the tournament and is at the top of the table with 9 points from 3 games.
They will play their last group stage match against SAI Kolkata on 14th February at the Mawlai Turf at 2 PM.
