Shillong, April 20: Shillong Lajong Junior Reds defeated NRL Football Academy by 2-1 in the Hero Junior League Shillong – Guwahati Zone at the MFA Ground in Polo.
Benjamin Diengdoh scored a brace for Lajong in the 24th and 51st minute while Rohit Soibam pulled one back for NRL in the 56th minute.
With this win, Shillong Lajong Junior Boys are at the top of the table with 7 points from 3 games while NRL is in the 3rd position with 4 points from 4 games.
Shillong Lajong will play their next match on the 22nd of April against North East United in Shillong.
