Shillong, December 07: The Speaker of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly Mr AT Mondal today released the book Volume-II of late Mr P R Kyndiah at the functions held in the premises of the Assembly, author by the Commissioner Secretary Mr Andrew Saimon.
Speaking on the occasion Mr Mondal said that young generation has a lot to learn from this great man how hi rose from the scratched to fame in politic. The speaker point out one sentence from the book “ Mr PR Kyndiah chewing sugarcane in the corner where his mother is in sick bed”.
The Speaker said that late Mr Kyndiah as the speaker of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly has given many ruling where, most of the speakers refer to his ruling in many occasion when need arises. He Mr Kyndiah never lost election this show that people love and trust him.
The Chief Whip of the Government Mr Winnerson D Sangma in his speech said that, “may be, I am too young to know about him late Mr PR Kyndiah”. He said that through this book people will come to know more about him.
In the brief introduction from the author Mr Andrew Saimon, said that this book is mostly on the life of late Mr PR Kyndiah how he climb up to the ladder in his political career and what he writes is mostly the conversation that he had with him in his service in the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly.
The First volume that was released earlier it relate mostly with the ruling during his tenure as the speaker of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly. The Children of Late PR Kyndiah was also present during the function.
