Shillong, September 12: The Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, General Administration (A) Department has informed that all State Government Offices and all Revenue and Magisterial Courts and Educational Institutions in the East Khasi Hills District shall remain closed on the 18th September, 2017 on account of “Unitarian Anniversary Day”.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Commissioners of Ri Bhoi District, Nongpoh and West Jaintia Hills, Jowai has also declared 18th September, 2017 as local holiday on account of “Unitarian Anniversary Day”. All state government offices, revenue and magisterial courts and educational institutions within Ri Bhoi District and West Jaintia Hills District will remain closed on 18th September, 2017.
