Guwahati, July 06: The Sun Valley Hospital observes its 15th Foundation day with a call from the Chief Guest, Dr. Atindra Kr Adhikari, Principal, Gauhati Medical College. The ceremony was presided with Dr. R N Pathak, Chairman, Sun Valley Diabetic Care & Research Center & Sun Valley Hospital along with Dr. Bikash Bhattacharya, Dwipen Sarma, A Pathak, Sushmita Mazumdar & Prabhash Chaodhury, Director, Sun Valley Hospital. They all graced the occasion as distinguished Guests on dais.
Sun Valley Hospital on this auspicious day started the ceremony with the Rabha Sangeet followed by welcoming the guests on dais with lighting the lamp; the hospital rededicated itself to its commitment to SAVE from DIABETIS, SAVE LIFE. Mr. Abhay Ch Hazarika, Managing Director, Sun Valley Hospital elevated the glory of the ceremony with his welcome speech.
In his Chief Guest’s speech, Dr. Atindra Kr Adhikari stated by saying that he already knew about Sun Valley Hospital as an institution dedicated to provide state-of-art facilities in Diabetic healthcare by experienced and trained Doctors. He said, “The doctor of the future will give no medicine, but will involve the patient in the proper use of food, fresh air and exercise.”
Commenting on this initiative, Abhay Ch Hazarika, Managing Director, Sun Valley Hospital said, “It’s important to start effective programs against diabetes in every levels of the society so that we can identify them at an early stage before they become severe as it is very difficult to quit at a later stage.
