The 1ST sub-committee of PRC inspected four Central Govt. Offices in Shillong

Shillong, October 25: The 1st Sub Committee of Parliamentary Rajbhasa Committee set up by Govt. of India reached Shillong on 24thOct’2017, on its two days visit to Meghalaya in connection with inspection of four Central Govt. Offices of Shillong i.e. Border Security Force Meghalaya, North East Police Academy (NEPA), Military Engineering Services (MES)  and North East Regional Institute of Education (NERIE).

The High Level Committee lead by Shri Satyabrata Chaturvedi, MP Rajya Sabha, Organisor along with Smt Pratibha Malik, Additional Secretary and other Officials conducted inspection on Rajbhasa works being implemented by above Central Govt. Offices for Official correspondence. On 25thOct’2017 at State Convention Centre(SCC) Shillong, Shri P K Dubey, Inspector General BSF Meghalaya briefed the committee about the present status and progress of Rajbhasha works of Border Security Force, Meghalaya Frontier.

The members of the committee along with all senior officials of  Border Security Force Meghalaya, North East Police Academy(NEPA), Military Engineering Services(MES)  and North East Regional Institute of Education (NERIE) held separate meeting and briefed the committee on 25th Oct’2017 at State Convention Centre(SCC) Shillong and also discussed ways and means to promote the Rajbhasha in every official Govt work.
