The 26th State Karate Championship 2017 organized by the AMKDA concluded in Shillong

Karate Championship in Shillong.Shillong, November 05: The 26th  State Karate Championship 2017 organized by the All Meghalaya Karate-Do Association, Shillong at Indoor Sports Hall, J.N. Sports Complex, Polo Ground, Shillong concluded on Saturday.

The two day championship started on Friday and concluded on Saturday, where the the Joint Director, Sport and Youth Affair Department Government of Meghalaya Mr J R Marak is the Chief quest.

During these two day competition, in the Men compettition, the Shillong Dajo Karte-Do Association has emerged as the Team Champion and the All Meghalaya Karate-Do Association is the Runner-Up.

The Women Competition, The Sports Authority of India, Shillong has emerged as the Team Champion and the Shillong Dojo Karate-Do Association is the Runners Up in this competition.

In the individual category, Mr Ram Lanong, from the All Meghalaya Karate-Do Association awarded as the Best Karateka for Boys Junion, Miss  Rosezana Kharkongor, from Shillong Dojo Karate-Do Association awarded as the Best Karateka in Girls Junior.

The award Best Karateka for Men goes to Mr Josanky Rympei, from Sports Authority of India, Shillong and the award for  Best Karateka in Women goes to Miss Ankita Koch,of the Sports Authority of India, Shillong
