Tura, July 27: The A.chik Youth Council has written a complaint letter to the Deputy Commissioner of West Garo Hills District, on the dilapidated condition of the Scholl building of Balgogre Government LP School that was damaged at the cyclonic storm in 2015, but left unattended till date.
In the letter, the AYC said that from the organization they have visited the school building on the 22nd July 2017, they were surprise to see that the school was in a dilapidated condition, the roofs and the windows has been damaged.
In the conversation with the head teachers of the school, they were inform that the school building was damaged by the cyclonic storm in the year 2015 and the matter was inform to the Sub-Divisional School Tura by the school authority.
The AYC felt that it is the concern office to look into the matter with outmost important, two years has elapsed but the concern officer has fail to do the need full. The students of the school suffer a lot they do not even complete one of the lesson. A healthy learning environment in school is only possible when students and teachers are providing with adequate facilities.
The AYC said that not only related to teaching and learning but also safe and sound infrastructure. The future of the students is in great danger in such condition the organization is much concern for the potential of the students. The AYC demanded from the DC to repair the school building immediately.
