The Addtional Director General of the BSF eastern command visited Meghalaya Frontier

Shillong, May 18: Mr  Pankaj Kumar Singh, IPS, Addl. Director General, Eastern Command BSF visited Frontier HQ Meghalaya BSF and its under command Headquarters and  Units on 17th & 18th May 2020. The purpose of the visit was to take stock of the readiness amid COVID-19 and also the operational preparedness along the International Border.

Inspector General BSF Mr Kuldeep Saini briefed him about the current situation and the preparedness to tackle COVID-19 pandemic. He also briefed the ADG BSF on the changing dynamics in operational domination on the International Border along the Meghalaya state.

The ADG also interacted with Medical team & Staff and inspected the measure taken against the Corona virus pandemic. He also inspected the quarantine centre of BSF.

Mr Pankaj Kumar Singh, IPS, ADG lauded the efforts made by BSF Meghalaya on the fight against pandemic and operational domination along the border. Mr Pankaj Kumar Singh, ADG is the son of former DG BSF Shri Prakash Singh, IPS who is known for the revolutionary reform in the forces.
