Shillong, February 05: Today the Anti Narcotics Task Force (ANTF), East Khasi Hills on receiving a source information, apprehended one UBC/1160 Mr Mebanson Shylla, 34 years of Langkyrding and Mr. Franky Wahlang of Langkyrding from Golflink, Shillong.
Later on leading of Mr Mebanson Shylla, Mr Zangkhol, A.L, 58 years and Mr. Vicky Kipgen, 20 years were also apprehended from Madanriting Bazar area. During search, the Police recovered and seized 0.17 gms from Mr. Mebanson Shylla, 4.13 gms from Mr. Franky Wahlang and 42.39 gms from Zangkhol, A.L.
On further interrogation, the police found that Mr. Vicky Kipgen is the main carrier who brought the above narcotic substances from Manipur to Shillong. Said the police press statement.
