Shillong, April 06: Bah Sanbor Shullai in his public meeting and party meeting held in Byrnihat, Nongpoh, and Ummulong has addressed the issues face by farmers and teachers. Addressing the issue of farmers in Meghalaya Mr Sanbor Shullai stated that till date no one has address the issue of farmer as the farmer in the state is going through severe financial stress.
Bah Sanbor Shullai stated that like in other states farm loan waiver should also be address in Meghalaya and we should stress on organic farming as it would give boost to the agriculture sector in Meghalaya.
My Sanbor Shullai also highlight the issues of teacher who are being deprived of their dues. Mr Sanbor Shullai stated that if getting elected he would address the problem face by the farmer and teachers with the centre.
Mr Sanbor Shullai addressing the crowd stated that both the congress and the regional parties shake hands with the rich people but the party which only addresses the grievances of the poor is BJP.
Several scheme launched by the BJP including free LPG for the poor, MUDRA loan, health insurance is for the poor. He stated that anti incumbency factor will hit congress candidate Vincent Pala and people would not like to send regional party at the centre so BJP is at upper hand and people will cast their vote considering the Nation mood.
