Shillong, May 31: The Book on the life of Late “Peter Garnette Marbaniang, tile “A Life in Service to the People ” authored by the Commissioner secretary of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly Mr Andrew Saimon was released today by the Chief Minister of Meghalaya Mr Conrad K Sangma at the Anex Hall in the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly.
The Chief Minister in his brief speech before releasing the book, he said that Bah Peter was his father teachers and both of them are great leaders of the state, Bah Peter has contribute a lot to the people of the state in his capacity.
From the family brief speeches was given by the former home minister Mr Robert G Lyngdoh and sitting MLA of Shillong East Smti Ampareen Lyngdoh where both of them thank their father for his guidance of what they are today.
The author of the book Mr Andrew Saimon in his introductory speech he said that he did not elaborate much on his political careers, but the main part in this book is about the service of Late Marbaniang to the people of the state.
