The BSF and the BGB played a friendly volleyball match at Dalu in South Garo Hills District

Shillong, Oct 19: The Border security Force (BSF) played a friendly volleyball match with the Border Guard of Bangladesh (BGB) at Dalu government higher secondary school Ground under the aegis of 75 Bn BSF on Wednesday.

The Commanding Officer of the  39 BGB along with senior officers from sector head quarter Mymensingh, Bangladesh and Commandant 75 Bn BSF,Second-In-Command and senior officer and troops of BSF as well as local people were present during the match. The match was played by both team with lot of enthusiasm and zeal.

The BSF and the  BGB have adopted certain measures to improve mutual understanding and relation for effective border management between both border guarding forces. These measures include meeting frequently at grass root level to resolve the local issues and conduct of friendly matches.

The friendly volleyball match was conducted between 75 Bn BSF and 39 BGB in continuation of these measures. Conduct of friendly match with BGB will go a long way in maintaining peace and tranquility at border and creating sense of security amongst the border population. More than 300 peoples including prominent personalities of the area witnessed the match.
