In response to this on 2nd Apr 2020,Sh Ratikant Thakur, Commandant 43 BN BSF with his team of officers ,SOs and men distributed free ration to approx 250 villagers of border belt through village heads at different Coy localities in Unit AOR taking all precautions regarding COVID-19.
Villagers were also breifed on preventing measures to stop spread of corona virus. The event was well needed and appreciated by nukmas,villagers and district authority of South Garo Hills.
