The BSF organized motor driving training for border youth at Dobasipara

Shillong, August 02: The Border Security Force Meghalaya Frontier under supervision of 75 Bn BSF deployed  on Indo-BD border with its Bn Hqr at Dobasipara (Tura), has taken an initiative in  imparting Motor Driving training to the youths of bordering areas at BOP Purakhasia under the aegies of Civic Action Programme (CAP)-2017-18. The programme, scheduled for a duration of 04 weeks, started on 1st Aug 2017. 34 unemployed youths of village Fokachindi, Purakhasia, Belabore, Kachuadogri and Baljora are enrolled in the Motor Driving Training Programme.

The inauguration programme was attended by Sh Carmel MarakLasker, Nukma  head of village Purakhasia alongwith 100 to 120 villagers of the area. Complimentary refreshment have been served to all the participants during the course of the training.

The aim of the Motor Driving Training under CAP is skill development and maintaining good relation with the people of border areas, create positive image of BSF, generate perpetual synergy with the civic society and add value to their quality of life.
