Shillong, May 17: The BSF School Umlping to hold three day, Meghalaya Model United Nation Confrence. The conference will be held on 18th, 19th and 20th of this month at BSF Senior Secondary School, Umpling and it is also known as “Model UN or MUN”.
This is an extra-curricular activity in which students typically play role delegates or ambassadors to the United Nation and simulate UN committees. This activity takes place at MUN conference and usually organized by a higher school or college MUN club. A MUN is an educational simulation of the UN.
Benefits of participating in an MUN is to meets new people and see new places, public speaking, become acquainted with global issues,develop a new level of confidence,diplomacy and Negotiation Skills and enhance leadership Skills.
Meghalaya Model United Nation conference aims to develop, in the youth, the spirit of diplomacy and to build up their confidence and leadership skill manifold. In the three days of our conference our youth will not only have a very learning and informative conference but also a very enjoyable and amazing time.
