Shillong, March 10: The Chief Electoral Officer of Meghalaya Mr Fredic Roy Kharkongor said that the Election Commission of India said that there will be simultaneous election to thus vacant Assembly Constituency.
The CEO said that in Meghalaya there is one vacant constituency, 48-Selsella Assembly Constituency. The bye –election to the 48-Selsella Constituency will be held simultaneously with the MP election.
The 48-sesella Assembly Constituency in West Garo Hills District remain vacant due to the demised of the elected representative from this Constituency Mr Clement Marak.
