The Central and the state Govt will assist people who set up school for the disable: R.B Athawale

Shillong, October 07: The Union Minister of State Government of India Mr Ramdas Bandu Athawale who is incharge of Social Justice and Empowerment said that he will write to the Chief Minister of Meghalaya to set up a government school for differently disable students of the state.

Speaking to media people after the meeting with the official of the state Government, the Union Minister said that in Meghalaya there are 12 schools were set up for disable people by private institution. The Central and the state government will assist   people who set up school for differently disable people in the state.

Giving the brake up on the disable in the state the Union Minister said that there are 44370 in Meghalaya and in the country there are two cores. The minister informs that there are 75 people who were disabling were working in different state government offices.

In the meeting Union Minister asked the state government to strictly follow the policy of 4% reservation in government job for the disable persons. In the meeting the official of the state government inform that the government was given Rs.500/- per month to 11695 people under the Chief Minister Social Assistance for the infirm widows.
