Shillong, Jan 22: Mr Sanbor Shullai Chairman MTDC and MLA Mr Renikton Lyngdoh Tongkhar Chairman MIDC and officials from both the department held a joint inspection on today at Hotel Crowborough project to monitor the progress of work.
During the inspection it was informed by the project in charge that the work is in progress and the soft opening of the hotel will be done by January 2020 and the hotel has partner with France based Accor hotel groups and Novotel the international acclaimed hotel brand from Accor group will make its debut in the capital city.
The hotel has the capacity to provide jobs to 150 people as informed by the project in charge and during the meeting MLA Shri Sanbor Shullai has informed the project in charge to employ locals as there are plenty of local youth who are now trained to work in hotel industry and also give opportunity to local contractor to execute the work so as to promote self employment.
