Shillong, August 23: The Chief Minister, Conrad K Sangma, on 22nd August chaired the meeting on Chief Minister’s programme “MOTHER”- Meghalaya’s Outcome Oriented Transformation in Health, Nutrition, Education and Rural Development at Circuit House, Nongpoh.
The meeting was also attended by Commissioner and Secretary, C & RD etc P Sampat Kumar, Deputy Commissioner, Ri Bhoi and officials from various departments of the district.
In his Opening Remarks, Chief Minister, Conrad K Sangma, said that the programme focusses on mother and child and measures the outcome in Health, Nutrition, Education, livelihood and productivity of the mothers by mobilizing the entire community and using data.
The objective will be achieved by integrating various departments of Health, Education, Social Welfare and Rural Development he informed. The meeting at length discussed the various aspects of the programme.
