Shillong, March 07: The Chief Minister Mr Conrad K Sangma today hold the first Cabinet meeting today where all the minister attended the cabinet meeting, he said.
Speaking to media person after the cabinet meeting, the Chief Minister said that he do not have much to say since this is the first meeting of the cabinet after assuming office. He inform that in this cabinet meeting the Chief Secretary have brief the cabinet on the scheme take up by the government and the Chief Secretary have also brief the financial position of the state.
The Chief Minister said that within this few days it will be difficult to say anything as they will be busy preparing the budget” The Chief Minister said that the budget will be a full budget, but there will be vote on account may be for three month”. Said Mr Conrad.
When asked about the flagship programme of the previous government, the Chief Minister Mr Conrad, said that any good development programme that is good for the state will continued and if there is any programme that is not working well the government will try to rectified it. The Chief Minister said, government is a continuing process.
On the Common Minimum Programme, the Chief Minister said that they will form the Committee to look into it. The Chief Minister said that there is large scope for improvement to developed the state.
