Ampati,January 11: The South West Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner& District Election Officer Cyril Darlong Diengdoh on 10 January handed over the final publication of Electoral Rolls to recognized political parties of the district at DRDA conference hall.
Prior to the handing over of the electoral rolls a meeting with the political parties was conducted by the Deputy Commissioner. Later an awareness programme on Model Code of Conduct (MCC), EVM, Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trial (VVPAT) and training on IT application – Suvidha, Sugam and Samadhan was held at the conference hall.
