The DC of WKH District, informed the district will roll out the e-service in electronic form

Shillong, March 03: The office of the Deputy Commissioner West Khasi Hills District, Nongstoin has informed all the public residing within the jurisdiction that the district will roll out the e-service in electronic form to citizens with effect from the 6th March, 2017.

Initially six services will be launched viz: Issuance of scheduled Tribe Certificate, Issuance of Scheduled Caste Certificate, Issuance of Certificate for recruitment into arm/Paramilitary/Police Force, Issuance of Permanent Residential Certificate for Higher Studies and Issuance of income   Certificate.

The main objective is to Citizens in available different services provided by the office of the Deputy Commissioner, West Khasi Hills District, in a transparent and citizen – friendly environment. Applicants may apply from Common       Services Centers (CSC), Kiosks, Internet Browsing Centers, Home & PFC at www.meghalaya.gov.in/megportal/edistrict. To improve citizen’s interface, relevant SMS will be triggered to the applicants during processing till completion of the Certificate.

The Certificate issuing authority in West Khasi Hills District is the Deputy Commissioner, Nongstoin and the Sub-Divisional Officer, Mairang. However at this time this facility will not be available for those applicants residing within the jurisdiction of the Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil) Mairang, which will be rolled out in due course of time.
