The Dy. CEM of the GHADC files FIR against Contractor who did not start the work

Shillong, November 20: The Deputy CEM of the GHADC has files an FIR with the police against thus contractors who were allotted with the work from the Special Central Assistance Scheme but after withdrew the money upto 60% but they could not start the work.

In the FIR filed by the Dy CEM of the GHADC said that, work was allotted to one Mr Abdul Roshido of Namabilla under Balachanda GHADC Constituency to construct a Guest House under Special  Assistance of Central Plan Schemes 2015-2016. It is alleged that Abdul Roshido withdrew 60 percent of the sanctioned amount for the work but failed to initiate the work.

The same FIR was also file against Smti  Jenisha A Sangma, that the  work was allotted to construct a footpath Rangakona under Rangsakona GHADC Constituency at the cost of Rs. 10 lakh at Modinagar under Special  Assistance of Central Plan Schemes 2015-2016. The complaint alleged that after withdrew 60 percent of the sanctioned amount for the work but failed to initiate the work.

An FIR was also file against Smt. Aliza Begum of Bholarbhita under Shyamnagar GHADC Constituency to construct a Community Hall at Bholarbhita of West Garo Hills District under Special Assistance of Central Plan Schemes 2015-2016. The complaint alleged that Smt. Aliza Begum withdrew 60 percent of the sanctioned amount for the work but failed to execute the work.
