Shillong,Nov 17: The government of Meghalaya today issued notification that the examination for the SSLC and HSSLC will be held in the month of March and April, 2021. The dates of examination will be finalised by MBOSE.
The notification also stated that no selection test will be held for appearing in SSLC and HSSLC Examination, 2021. Al schools, including the unaffiliated schools should note the same and should not conduct any selection test at thoir level. Similarly, no selection tests hould be conducted by District Education officials for SSLC and HSSLC Examination, 2021
As a one-lime exemption all candidates who are willing to appear in SSLC and HSSLC Examination, 2021, but had failed in selection tests conducted in the year 2019 will be allowed to appear in the final SSLC and HSSLC Examination to be held in March April, 2021.
The private candidates willing to appear for the same can appear directly in the final exam after following due procedure. All concerned should note that the cancellations of selection test and subsequent opportunity given to directly appear in the final SSLC and HSSLC Examination, 2021 is done as a one-time exception lo ensure safety and health of all the stake holders in view of the prevailing COVID-19 Pandemic situation.
The candidates failing in the SSLC and HSSLC Examination, 2021 may have to go through aselection test next year and the current notification may not be treated as precedence.
