The five days International Multidisciplinary Art Workshop under way in NEHU

Shillong, July 04: The five days International Multidisciplinary Art Workshop entitled, ‘Cross Cultural Identities: A Dialogue Through Art’, organised by Positive Energy Art Foundation in collaboration with ICSSR-NERC, Shillong was inaugurated by the Commissioner and Secretary, Arts and Culture Department, Government of Meghalaya, Frederick R Khakongor today.

Also present on the occasion was the Honorary Director, ICSSR-NERC, Shillong Prof Bhagirathi Panda, the Director of Positive Energy Art Foundation,  Dr Prakash Kishore, the Principal, Government College of Arts and Crafts, Guwahati, Dr Nabajit Deka, Chairman of Riti Academy of Visual Arts, Raphael Warjri, national and international art scholars besides others.

Addressing the gathering, the Chief Guest at the inaugural function, Commissioner and Secretary, Arts and Culture Department, Frederick R Kharkongor spoke on cultural exchange that will give a positive impact about the cultural and traditional aspects of North East India to artists from different countries and various parts of India through rich and meaningful dialogue.
