Shillong, August 03: The Garo Hills State movement committee GHSMC which is spearheaded movement for separate Garoland met Union Minister of state for Home Mr Kiren Rijiju at at the National Capital New Delhi and submitted the memorandum demanding for the separate Garoland state.
The delegation was led by the president Mr Nikman Ch Marak and former Deputy Chief Executive Member Mr Augustine Marak, in the memorandum submitted to the Union Minister of state, the GHSMC has spell out why they have demanded for the separated Garoland.
The members of the GHSMC tried to get an appointment with the Prime Minister of India Mr Narendra Modi, but due to his busy schedule he could not have time, but they GHSMC was asked to meet the Union Minister of State Mr Kiren Rijiju and submit the memorandum.
