Shillong, September 06: The member of the Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC) Mr Augustine Marak, who is also general secretary of the Garo National Council, welcomes the support from the political party People Democratic Front (PDF) for the demand for a separate Garoland.
Mr Augustine General secretary of the GNC, told SP News Agency that from the GNC welcomes the support of the political party PDF for their demand for a separate Garoland. Thought the party has not received any official letter from the PDF, but from the statement made by veteran politican Mr HS Shylla is enough to accept the support of the PDF.
The GNC all along fought for the separate Garoland, and the HSPDP has supported the demand of the GNC, and the GNC is glad to see that a new political party in the state the PDF has come out with the statement that they will support for the separate Garoland, said Mr Augustine Marak.
