Shillong, November 17: Lieutenant General Abhay Krishna, UYSM, AVSM, SM, VSM, General Officer Commanding in Chief, Eastern Command called on the Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Dr Mukul Sangma at his office on 16 Nov 17. During a fruitful interaction, the GOC-in-C discussed a number of issues with Honourable Chief Minister to include Internal Security and Disaster Management.
The GOC-in-C assured the Chief Minister of continued and enhanced Civil-Military interaction and cooperation in future. After meeting the Chief Minister, the GOC-in-C also called on Shri Ganga Prasad, the Honourable Governor of Meghalaya at the Raj Bhawan. The GOC-in-C was accompanied by Lieutenant General DS Ahuja, General Officer Commanding 101 Area.
