The Government of Meghalaya has set up the Zila Sainik Welfare Office at Tura

Shillong, August 03: The Government of Meghalaya has set up the Zila Sainik Welfare Office at Tura under the Directorate of Sainik Welfare, Meghalaya, to cater to all the five Districts of Garo Hills and will temporarily function from the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Tura. This was informed by the Additional Chief Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, General Administration Department.
