Shillong, August 04: The Governor of Meghalaya Mr Banwarilal Purohit today sworn in two cabinet ministers at Raj Bhavan Shillong, the two new ministers are Dr Celestine Lyngdoh and Mr Cominggone Ymbon.
The council of minister who were present during the ceremony, the Chief Minister Himself Dr Mukul Sangma, and his colleague in the cabinet, Mr AL Hek, Mr David Nongrum are MLA from the ruling and Mr Titosstarwell Chyne MLA from the UDP, and government official were present.The speaker of the Meghalaya Meghalaya Legislative Assembly Mr A T Mondal was also present.
After the swearing in ceremony, the Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma told media person said that this reshuffle is a normal practice; speculation may be there in such circumstance but all speculation remain as speculation.
The two new ministers they will get calamities to the challenges of responsibility and the chief minister is confident that they will be able to respond in the challenges as members of the cabinet.
The names of the minister that sworn in was read by the Chief Secretary of the state Mr Y Tesring.
