The identified wholesale traders of Paltan Bazar and Jeep Stand to conduct doorstep delivery

Shillong, April 29: The Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills District issued an order that in view of the curfew promulgated in the District concerning the COVID-19 situation and in order to enable the transpiration of essential commodities.

The order mention that the identified wholesale traders of Paltan Bazar and Jeep Stand as per list-I are herby permitted to conduct doorstep delivery to the identified retailers in various localities as per list-II as per the following condtition.

All identifies wholesale traders as per list-I will open on 29 and 30 of April from 11.00 Am to 4.00 PM especially for loading of essential goods to be delivered to the identified retails as per list-II.

Lifting will be strictly regulated by Executive Magistrate station on the site, there shall be no retail sales from the wholesale traders and any contravention of the order shall cause the shop to be closed.

All the directives and standard of operation of Government in health and Family Welfare Department for social distancing, no spitting and respiratory etiquette are to be strictly complied with, mention the Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills in the order issued.
