The KHADC yet to give NOC for the road from Ranikor to Maheskhola: Dr Mukul

Shillong, January 06: The Chief Minister Dr Mukul Sangma blame the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) for not giving the No Objection Certificate (NOC) for improvement the road from Ranikor to Maheskhola under South West Khasi Hills District.

The Chief Minister said that the government want to constructed the Road from Ranikor to Baghamara to improve the road connectivity in the rural area, the leght of this road is 129 KM, but in the portion felt under the KHADC till date the authority from the KHADC has not given the NOC.

The Chief Minister said that the total cost for the construction to widen this existing road from Ranikor to Baghmara is Rs.1000 Cores. The Chief Minister said now whom to blame for bad road in the area people should understand.

The Chief Minister said that he personally supervise most of the project that was completed in the state like the Shillong By pass, Nongstoin Tura Road and many others road that was completed in the state during the congress government. The Government has done a lot for the people.

The Chief Minister said let the people come the blessing one by one that they have received from the  Government, this was stated by the Chief Minister at the press conference after the cabinet meeting on Friday.
