Shillong, November 05: The MCIC in collaboration with the Dorbar Shnong of Lower Lumparing and Upper Lumparing, Shillong organized the inauguration function of newly construction of Connecting PWD Road from the Existing PWD Road, Mynsain near the house of Mr Blessing Diengdoh downwards to Jingkieng of Smti Nora Hynniewta connecting Upper and Lower Lumparing, Shillong at Mynsain, Lower Lumparing on Saturday.
The scheme was planned, initiated and recommended by Mr Sanbor Shullai MLA. The function was presided over by Mr Doncaster Shabong, Rangbah Shnong of Lower Lumparing, the speakers Shri Blessing Diengdoh, Rangbah Dong of Dorbar Shnong Lower Lumparing, Mr Shibu Das, Jt Secretary, Lumparing Welfare Society, Mr B Kharkaamni, Rangbah Dong, Mynsain-Lower Lumparing, has appreciated and lauded the initiative and sustained efforts of the MLA, for bringing various kind of developmental schemes from various departments which has fulfilled the long long aspiration of the people of greater Lumparing in particular and the 19th South Shillong Constituency in general.
The Inauguration function was also attended by various Rangbah Dongs and members of Dorbar Shnong Upper and Lower Lumparing, Members of Seng Kynthei Lower Lumparing, Local NGO’s and prominent residents of Mynsain and Greater Lumparing Area. Mr Anthony Marwein, Secretary, MCIC has appreciated and lauded the sustained efforts of the MLA cum Chairman due to his hard work and due to his personal initiatives, that various Developmental Schemes has been selected, approved and get it sanctioned by the Govt.
Mr Sanbor Shullai, MLA, during his speech has suggested and requested the members of the MCIC to monitor all the projects with cordial relationship and in collaboration with the Dorbar Shnong and the officials of various Deptts as per specification laid down by the Deptt concerned for the speedy implementation of all the projects to ensure best quality of works for the benefits, welfare and interest of the general public of Greater Lumparing Area in particular and 19th South Shillong Constituency in general. The Vote of Thanks was given by Shri Paulus Marwein, Rangbah Dong of Dong Skul, Lower Lumparing.
